In early September 2010, Lozano was awarded the Artist Incubator Program grant by the City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department. The artist integrated herself in both working border crossing communities. Collecting images and items from the ambulant female workers on the bridge, and the flea market women workers across the bridge. The content of the visual research was recorded with an archeological direction geared towards the art show. |
